Where can you get money exchanged in either NJ or NY?

I have 20,000 yen that i had gotten from my uncle who lives in japan and wanted to know if there was any place in new jersey or new york to do so. Someone told me there might be a place in Garfield NJ but im not sure. Does anyone know where i could go?
