Guys opions only please!?

Okay so me and my ex boyfriend have been through a lot and mostly all my fault and now he dosnt want to be in a relationship for a while... we were engaged and everything and we have agreed to not talk to other ppl or see other ppl... I tell him and do nice things for him but when I do all he can say is yup uh huh sweet okay and he dosnt ever acknowledge anything I do for him.... I keep the ring on that he gave me because I still have hope for us... I just don't know what to do he says its going to be a while b4 he gets back into a relationship.... so what can I say or do that is going to drop his jaw and actualy have something to say about it and also what do I do with mine and his relationship.. I don't want me and him to turn into just friends and then it be weird and stuff..I mean I still go stay at his house and we do everything a couple do except say I love you and kiss... that's about it... can someone give me and opinion and some answers to my questions please and thank you.. NO BULLSHIT ANSWERS OR REMARKS!!!
