Which is better? Going to school for business management,or reading books on business? ?

I want to open,my own bakery,and I've kind of had a bad experience with college before. If books are better,then if you can list some I would very much appreciate it. Please,no rude remarks this is my career I'm that I want to pursue. Thank you.
